There was a time when radio was king. Like all Kings they fall. The sad fact of its passing nothing similar has replaced it. I remember night listening to far away stations imagining an announcer in a room full of people playing music and enjoying his job entertaining. At that time I had no idea, he man sat in a small room with a glass looking into a room with at least on man who controlled everything, including the microphone switch which put his voice on the air. I’ve been in one of those booths. One’s imagination determines his level of success in the business as there’s no external stimulus to drive his creative juices.
Long Live The King — NOT!!!
